🇧🇷 São Paulo, Brazil - Safely Back Home!

My lasting memories of Brazil: 🌟 The Good Stuff 1️⃣ Perfect Weather ☀️ May was near winter, but 20°C with sunshine & lush greenery 🌿 Heard summers max at ~35°C—not bad! 2️⃣ Warm, Family-Oriented People ❤️ Everyone was friendly and chatty—strangers included! Strong family values everywhere. 3️⃣ Football = Religion ⚽ Every Brazilian has a team & lives for the sport. 4️⃣ Hilly Like Hong Kong 🏙️⛰️ Constant ups & downs—good leg workout! 5️⃣ Beans & Rice = Elite Combo 🍛 Creamy beans + fluffy rice = chef’s kiss 6️⃣ Cashless Society (Almost) 💳 Cards rule, but watch for skimming! 7️⃣ Uber > Public Transport 🚗 Safer & super convenient. 8️⃣ Fruit Heaven 🍍🥭 Pineapples & papayas = juicy, sweet, addictive. Ate them daily! 9️⃣ Chill Vibe 🍻 Post-work bar culture, late dinners (~8PM)—easy to gain weight! 🔟 Chinese Cars Everywhere 🚗 Haval, BYD, Chery—huge local love. ⚠️ Heads Up 1️⃣ Language Barrier 🗣️ Most speak only Portuguese—Google Translate is a must! 2️⃣ Safety First 👀 No nighttime strolls. Downtown (especially near the cathedral) = risky. Even locals avoid it! 3️⃣ Avenida Paulista = Sunday Only 🚶 Closed to cars + fun events! 4️⃣ Campinas > São Paulo 🏡 Safer & more livable. Final Thought: "Brazil doesn’t just visit you—it stays with you." ✨ #Brazil #SaoPaulo #TravelDiaries #Campinas #SafetyFirst #FoodHeaven #LostInTranslation #NoRegrets
