🇨🇦 Abbotsford Tulip Festival As soon as we drove in, we were instantly stunned by the sea of flowers. After all, it’s spring—colors have a way of making you feel happy, joyful, and sweet 💕. It’s said that the entire area spans a whopping 35 acres, featuring tulips, peonies, lavender, and other blooms. Every click of the camera captures a post-worthy shot in seconds 📷. 💡 A few tips: 🎫 It’s recommended to buy tickets in advance on the official website (lakelandflowers.ca). 👉🏻 You’ll receive an e-ticket once your purchase is successful. Staff at the entrance will check tickets, and the verification process is quick. We went on a long weekend, so tickets were a bit pricier—$16 online for weekends and holidays, versus $24 at the venue. 🌞 Going a bit earlier is better. The harsh midday sun can affect photo lighting, so the results might not be ideal. ⚠️ It gets quite windy on-site. A heads-up to ladies wearing hats ‼️ There are also a few dusty areas—I noticed my English-style boots had changed color by the time I got home. 🍴 If you get hungry, head to the food court. There are around 6-7 food trucks offering poutine 🍟, hotdogs 🌭, meat rolls, lemon tea, roasted corn, ice cream, and more. 🛍️ For those who love tulips 🌷, you can buy flower buds to take home and grow before you leave.
