🇨🇦 Around Vancouver | Abbotsford: Delicious Food and Fun Activities I used to have a stereotype that Abbotsford was just a "big countryside" 🌾. It always felt like a place I passed through on the way to Banff or Cultus Lake—every time I got stuck in traffic here, I never had much interest in exploring the city itself. But this time, I completely changed my mind! The city is full of hidden gem shops and internet-famous foods—total game-changer 🤩 Let me share them with you. ⭐️ If you love browsing second-hand vintage shops like I do, you *must* visit Abbotsford! The thrift stores here are up to the same standard as those in the US—spacious, clean, and great value for money 💰. Two must-visit spots are MCC (a thrift store as big as a Walmart, definitely an internet sensation) and Bibles for Missions. Both have amazing ratings on Google—trust the hype! ⭐️ Revive Boutique Bistro is an internet-famous spot for coffee and brunch ☕. It’s clearly designed for Instagram, but personally, I think the decor feels a bit forced and lacks natural charm. I waited 20 minutes for a cup of coffee—yikes 😅. Still, it’s okay to check in and take photos on a sunny day. It has a 4.8 rating on Google, so lots of people love it! ⭐️ Kojan Sushi: You can order blindly without worrying about bad choices 🍣. They serve both Korean and Japanese dishes, perfect for satisfying Asian taste buds. 4.5 on Google—solid choice! ⭐️ Right next to Kojan is the Korean dessert shop 2scoops 🍧. Their brown sugar bubble tea and mango snow ice are incredibly rich—they’d definitely make it to Vancouver’s top lists. Highly recommended! Stop by after your meal—you won’t regret it. 4.6 on Google, for good reason! ⭐️ Also, the Winners & HomeSense near the Sumas border in Abbotsford is great for shopping 🛍️. It’s huge, brand-new, and super clean—you’ll see why once you go. I accidentally discovered it after giving up on crossing the border due to long waits—silver lining! ⭐️ Lastly, when you’re in Abbotsford, you can drop by a farm while you’re at it 👨🌾. Just search online—Maan or Taves are quite distinctive. We went to Taves during the Pumpkin Festival 🎃, and it was so much fun! Who knew Abbotsford had so much to offer? Definitely worth a proper visit now—no more just passing through! 😊 #Vancouver#VancouverLife#VancouverFood#StoreHopping#WeekendStoreHopping#WeekendGetaway#DailyFood#Abbotsford#AroundVancouver
