A newly opened Korean restaurant chain in Waterloo 🦉! No matter which Korean restaurant I go to, I always have to order pork bone soup! 🏠: The Owl of Minerva 📍: 255 King St N #11, Waterloo 🥘 Korean Pork Bone Soup: The soup base tastes pretty good—no gritty bits when you drink it. The pork bones are a bit hard to gnaw on, but the meat itself is tender. The potatoes are cut into huge chunks, though there are only two pieces. 😅 🍗 Soy Garlic Chicken: The fried chicken is tender and boneless, but the flavor isn’t particularly impressive. It’s a shame you can’t order half a portion—one serving is a bit too much. 🥺 ❤️ Recommendation Rating: 🌟🌟🌟 💰 Average per person: Over $40. It’s not cheap—might as well go to Uki instead! Their chopsticks were really tiring to use. I know Korean restaurants usually use stainless steel chopsticks, but theirs are especially flat and heavy.
