Originally planned for brunch, but ended up dragging too long and missed it 🥲. Thankfully, Cibo was open all afternoon 😁—plus the vibe is fantastic, service is super attentive, and the food was a delightful surprise! 🥩 Beet Beef The main dish was solid! The beef was tender and juicy, and the beets added a fresh, balancing touch. Only the goat cheese in the salad wasn’t totally my thing (just personal preference!), but everything else was delicious. 🐙 Grilled Octopus The MVP of the meal! 🏆 Highly recommend—the octopus was grilled perfectly: tender, not chewy or fishy at all, with just the right amount of seasoning. Fell in love at first bite. A bit pricey but so worth it. 🍟 Pickerel Fritto We also tried their fried pickerel strips—super crispy! 🐟 Paired with a tangy chili sauce, it had this unique spicy and sour kick that was totally addictive. Couldn’t stop munching! 🍺 Nonsuch Beer My go-to local brew 🍻. Whenever I see Nonsuch in Winnipeg, I order it. This time at Cibo, it matched the meal perfectly—light and refreshing. 🪴 The atmosphere was a full score too!
