But last night, fueled by boredom (and a willing colleague), we decided to explore the CBD at night—and stumbled upon a spontaneous idea: "What does the cathedral look like after dark?" 🚗 The "Tourist Tax" Negotiation A local guard stopped us, demanding 2,000 XOF/person (💸 Daytime entry is FREE!). We walked away, but our quick-thinking driver intervened—haggled down to 1,000 XOF total for three! West African bargaining at its finest. 😂 🌙 Nighttime Cathedral Vibes Eerily quiet compared to daytime crowds—but standing solemnly in the dark, it felt mystical.
