🇨🇳 Xi’an Famous Foods – So Good! 🥢✨

I’d heard about this popular chain and had been wanting to try it for a while. While on a work trip to Newark, I found out there was a location near the PATH station and made sure to stop by. I arrived around 1 PM, and it was packed — in fact, it stayed busy the whole time I was there! 😲 I was a little worried about finding a seat, but honestly, everyone was really respectful — they ate quickly and moved on 🍜⚡. Plus, people really followed the sign that said: “No host or busser — please clean up after yourself.” The place was spotless! 🧼👍 I ordered using one of their self-service kiosks and waited about 15 minutes for my food. The kitchen is open, so you can see them hustling in the back — they were seriously on the move! 🏃‍♂️🔥 But that’s part of the lively vibe! The food was truly amazing — the flavors were incredible!! 🥒 The cucumber salad might be the best I’ve ever had, mostly thanks to that insanely good chili oil, but the fresh smashed cucumbers were fantastic too. I tried the Spicy Cumin Lamb Hand-Ripped Noodles — absolutely delicious! The noodles were great, though super long and a little tricky to eat without diving face-first into the bowl 😅. My only small issue was that some pieces of lamb had thick fat/connective tissue and not much meat — so I ended up leaving a few bits. But the sauce and noodles? I was obsessed! 💖 If I go back — and I definitely will — I’d order the lamb prepared the same way. I thought the prices were fair, portions were solid, and the flavor was top-tier.
