🇩🇪 Around Stuttgart | Summer Toboggan & Boating
Spent the weekend tobogganing in the hills of Winnenden 🛷, then went boating and had a picnic at a nearby lake. On the way back, we stopped by Schorndorf and visited Daimler’s birthplace. 🛷 Summer Toboggan Run: Winterhalde 1, 73667 Kaisersbach Tickets: €4 per ride. Kids need to ride with an adult. 🎢 The carts have a hand brake to control speed – it can get pretty fast downhill, so slow it down if you’re not a thrill-seeker! 🚣 Ebnisee: Just a 10-minute drive from the toboggan run. There’s a paid parking lot on one side of the lake. The lake is small – it takes about 30 mins to circle it – and surrounded by forests, giving serious Black Forest vibes 🌲💦. You can rent rowboats or pedal boats ⛵ (€9/30 mins) – perfect for a relaxed loop around the lake. There are benches, a beer garden 🍻, and spots for picnics or swimming. 🏠 Daimler’s Birthplace: Höllgasse 7, 73614 Schorndorf We stopped by this cute little house in a pretty alley near the old town market square – where the automotive legend was born! 🚗✨ #Stuttgart #Weekend #DayTrip #ExploreGermany
