đ©đȘ Bremen | Canât Get Enough of This Affordable Thai Basil Riceđ
Itâs been a while since my last update â but that doesnât mean I havenât been eating! đ As an Asian-food lover, Iâm always hunting for humble little spots around the city. Krua Thai is one of those no-frills, authentic places that feels like the "Thai version of a neighborhood dumpling shop" đź. Prices are lower than most Thai restaurants in Bremen, but the flavor definitely doesnât disappoint. Great value for money! đ ăPad Kra Pao ă My first time here was after a rehearsal at the theater across the street â I came alone and ordered No. 6. One bite and I was hooked! đ€Ż Itâs stir-fried minced meat (pork/beef mix or chicken â go for pork, itâs âŹ1 cheaper) with Thai basil, long beans, and onions. The taste leans slightly Chinese, but the Thai basil brings a unique aromatic kick đżđ§ . Definitely ask for spicy â it elevates the dish! Served with a perfectly runny fried egg đł â break the yolk and mix everything with rice⊠pure comfort! đ„ ăLaab ă Another signature dish â lighter in color but big on flavor. Itâs also made with minced meat, but with toasted rice powder for a crunchy texture đâš. Fresh mint and cilantro give it a refreshing twist (though it might not be for everyone). I still prefer No. 6, but this is worth a try! đ ăPad Thaiă Classic stir-fried rice noodles topped with bean sprouts and crushed peanuts đ„. You adjust the spice level yourself with condiments. Comes with egg, carrot, and scallions. Not overly oily â a solid choice. Add chili powder for extra kick! đ¶ïž đ ăBratreis (Fried RiceïŒă A must-try at any Asian restaurant! Fried rice here is fluffy, fragrant, and loaded with egg, peas, carrot, onion, tomato, and bok choy. Also comes with a fried egg on top â simple and satisfying đ„ą. đčđ Restaurant: Krua Thai đčđ Address: Ostertorsteinweg 30a, 28203 Bremen Perfect for when youâre craving something flavorful, homely, and easy on the wallet đžâ€ïž. #GermanFood #ThaiFood #Bremen #FoodGuide #AffordableEats #AsianFoodLover
