Freiburg University Museum (FREE!) 🏛️ Features Napoleon’s face (a cast) & fascinating WWII stories. 3. Old Town’s Charming "Bächle" (Little Water Channels) 💦 Locals dip their feet to cool off. Legend: If you touch the water, you’ll marry a local! 💍😂 4. Hike Up Schlossberg & Visit Augustinermuseum 🚶‍♂️🌳 Walk up Schlossberg, cross the bridge, and head to the Augustinermuseum. 5. Café Schmidt (100+ Years Old!) ☕🍰 Must-try: Eiskaffee (iced coffee) & Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte (Black Forest Cake) 🍒 Unlike the usual version—less sweet, creamy, with a boozy kick! 6. Food Alert! 🍜 Pin Yi Pin Xuan is under renovation (1 month). Next door: A cheap & huge-bowl (spicy hotpot)! 🌶️ 7. Late-Night Shopping & Vending Machine Kingdom 🛒🤖 Shops open past 8 PM! Train station has a vending machine wonderland (even sells meat! 🥩). Luggage storage available here too. 8. Getting There? FlixBus from Zurich! 🚌 We arrived at 12 PM, left at 10 PM—plenty of time since attractions are super close! 9. Thrift Shopping! ♻️👗 Kilogram-priced vintage store (great for treasure hunters). Luxury second-hand shop (open Mon-Fri). 10. Shop ‘Til You Drop! 🛍️💃 Clothes shopping was my main mission—hands went numb! 😆 Live local band performances on Saturdays (promoting regional culture). 🎶 11.
