🇩🇪 Just discovered another German city: Passau!
Last time I called Nuremberg “underrated” and got totally roasted by people living in Germany 😅… so this time I’ll say Passau is niche — no objections, right? It’s basically on the border with Austria 🇦🇹! Funny enough, there are quite a few Asian restaurants here — I even tried pho (not bad at all 🍜). Why did I come here? Well… it all started with getting my dachshund Ridoll 🐶. You’ve all seen him! I heard there was a dachshund museum in this city, so I made the trip all the way here only to find out… it moved to another city 😤. Since when do museums relocate? Absolutely unreal lol. So I ended up doing some city walk instead 🌆. The weather was already warm, and the town is small but super charming and colourful. Thankfully the museum wasn’t too far away, so we went there the next day. I still really want to recommend Passau though — especially if you’re coming from Austria, it’s super convenient 🚆. This city is perfect for art lovers 🎨 — honestly, every corner looks like it could be a deep, meaningful painting. The Danube River is gorgeous here 🌊. If it weren’t for that museum mix-up, I might never have discovered this place. And guess what — it’s also the hometown of Princess Sisi?! 👑 To all the Chinese friends living in Germany: I know Germany is huge. We’re just tourists — not here for a geographic survey 😉. Most people only know Berlin, Munich, Cologne… who actually researches a city’s population or economic rank before visiting? So if you see my posts… maybe go easy on the criticism, yeah? Much love & thanks! ☺️❤️ #GermanyTravel #OffTheBeatenPath #LifeInAustralia ✈️🌍
