🇩🇪 Retrieving Lost Luggage & Watching the Sunset in Bamberg 🌄

My friend left her suitcase on the train yesterday, but after reporting it, she quickly received a message from Deutsche Bahn saying it was waiting at Bamberg Station. Since I was closer, I came to pick it up for her. When I arrived, the Information counter was closed, so I went out for a meal and took a stroll around this small town. So beautiful and peaceful—it felt like a fairy-tale version of Avignon! 🏘️✨ I wandered around taking photos, and at one point, a German guy holding a Döner kindly made way for me. Turns out we were going the same way, so we started chatting. He was here for a barista interview at a local café. He had quit his high-profile job just three weeks ago, and this was his first interview for a new career. When I asked, “So you’ve only been learning coffee for three weeks?” he said he’d bought a coffee machine last year and practiced making 4–5 cups every day after work—and drank them all himself! ☕😆 We said goodbye at the sunset bridge. After walking a few steps, I realized I forgot to tell him: “With your level of dedication, I’m sure you’ll find the job you want and step into a whole new chapter of life.” PS: The curry at this Indian restaurant in Bamberg was absolutely delicious! The rice was fluffy and perfectly cooked, and the curry was well-balanced with rich, harmonious spices. 🍛❤️ The place was also clean and quiet, and every seat had a soft cushion—so cozy 😭. #LifeInGermany #GermanTrains #GermanFood 🚆🌅🍴
