🇩🇪 Stuttgart Food Diary 🍽️

During my two days in Stuttgart, I only had two proper meals — one was absolutely satisfying, the other… well, just okay. 😅 🇺🇿 Uzbek-ish Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 The beef Plov (hand-pulled rice) at this Uzbek restaurant was incredibly fragrant! It was my first time trying Plov, and the flavor was surprisingly light yet complex. The slightly fatty beef was so delicious it totally won me over — I finished almost the entire plate myself (though it got a bit greasy toward the end, so I left a little behind). The Samsa (baked bun) wasn’t really my thing — the outer layer was a bit too dry for me. I noticed the German father and son at the next table each had a steamer of Manti — maybe I’ll try that next time I’m in Stuttgart! 😊 The owner is a kind, friendly man, and we even chatted a bit. One thing to note: the restaurant is pretty small with limited seating, so be prepared to wait. 🇰🇷 Kim‘s So Korean Food Rating: 🌟🌟 This place is near the Landesmuseum Württemberg. I picked it in a hurry so I could get back for the exhibition opening at 1 PM. I ordered honey mustard fried chicken and stir-fried pork belly. The chicken had way too much batter — I haven’t had fried chicken that heavy in years. The pork belly was just okay — tasted like something I could make at home. Not really recommended. 🛡️ (Disclaimer: I rarely give such low ratings — definitely not a hater. Check my other posts if you doubt me! 😂) 🧋 Cha Haus Rating: 🌟🌟🌟✨ I got what I think was bubble tea with matcha foam. The tea itself wasn’t anything special — not very rich in tea flavor nor creamy in texture, but it was drinkable. The matcha foam, though, was pretty good — strong matcha taste with a hint of cheesy saltiness. I scraped off every last bit of it! 🍹 Neun 9 Bar Rating: 🌟🌟 One star for the super friendly owner, but the milk tea was not it. I ordered jasmine green milk tea with pearls, and it tasted like those artificially flavored milk teas from the early 2000s. I originally bought it to drink on the ICE train, but ended up bringing it all the way to Munich just to throw it away. 🫠 (Again, not a hater — check my history!) All in all, I highly recommend Uzbek-ish 👏, but the others were pretty disappointing. Next time I’m in Stuttgart, I’ll have to try more cuisines. Wishing everyone great meals and good health on your travels! 🍜✈️ #Germany #TravelGermany #Stuttgart #FoodReview
