🇩🇪 Ultimate Hamburg Travel Guide (with Detailed Map Included)

I spent a few days in Hamburg, Germany for a study tour and explored many places on my own—so I’ve put together this guide covering all the interesting spots in the city. Hamburg is neat and orderly, yet lively thanks to its rivers and harbor. It’s also incredibly diverse, with a mix of cultural elements—no matter what you love, you’ll find something to enjoy here! 🥳 Things to Do (See Map on the Last Page) DAY 1 Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (Central Station) → Hamburger Kunsthalle (Hamburg Art Gallery) → Binnenalster (Inner Alster Lake) → Hamburg Rathaus (City Hall) → Wander the nearby old town (with lots of rivers and bridges to explore freely) → St. Nikolai Church → Chilehaus → St. James’s Church (St. Jakobi Kirche) → Shopping Streets 🛍️ DAY 2 Take a boat tour from the harbor → Elbphilharmonie (Elbe Philharmonic Hall) → Miniatur Wunderland (Miniature Wonderland) → Speicherstadt (Warehouse District) → Dialog in the Dark (Dark Experience Museum) → Mehr Theater am Gänsemarkt 🚢🎭 🍻 Food & Drinks Local Eats: Sausages, ham, hamburgers, and Schweinshaxe (pork knuckle) 🥩🌭 Beer & Pub Culture: Hamburg has a vibrant pub scene on weekends—bars get super lively with people drinking and chatting. I was lucky enough to experience it twice with classmates from around the world 🍻 International Cuisine: If German food isn’t your thing, don’t worry! Hamburg’s diversity means you can find delicious food from all over the world 🥡 🚄 Transportation Flights: Book via the Skyscanner app ✈️ Train Tickets: Purchase through Flixbus, DB Navigator, or Omio apps 🚞 City Transport: Buy tickets for subways/buses via the HVV app, DB Navigator, or on-site machines 🚇 Boat Tickets: Buy directly from machines at the harbor 🚤 🎫 Ticket Booking For attractions like Miniatur Wunderland, Dialog in the Dark, Elbphilharmonie, and Hamburger Kunsthalle—find their official booking links on Google Maps to reserve tickets online in advance! #Travel #GermanyTravel #HamburgTravel #HamburgGermany #Hamburg #EuropeTravel #StudyAbroadLife
