Originally planned to catch a ⚽ match in Dortmund, but with time to spare, I discovered a nearby gem—Wuppertal, home to the world's first suspended monorail (Schwebebahn, operating since 1901)! 🚄 Schwebebahn Ride My first time on a hanging train was surreal! Though compact, it was packed with commuters. The highlight? The drivers' infectious pride—every wave 👋 or thumbs-up 👍 was met with warm smiles. 🏛️ Engels House €4 entry | The statue out front was a gift from China. Ground floor: Family heirlooms, letters ✉️, and restoration clips. Upper floor: Engels' salon, books, and life story. Quirky bonus: Traffic lights near the house feature Engels' face!
