đŠđ° Copenhagen || Høst, Voted the Worldâs Most Beautiful Restaurant
â In Copenhagen, I had the pleasure of dining at Høst, which has been awarded âWorldâs Best Designed Restaurantâ and named âWorldâs Most Beautiful Restaurantâ by Travel + Leisure magazine! Itâs also recognized by Michelin with (The Plate Michelin) â Høst specializes in modern Nordic cuisine, with the menu divided into meat and vegetarian options. One features fish and shellfish, while the vegetarian option highlights celery with truffle and Vesterhavsost cheese. I opted for the five-course fixed menu, upgrading the main course to lobster tail (at an additional cost) The entire meal lasted two hours 𧞠Some dishes that left a deep impression: ⌿ Starter: Caviar with sour cream on waffles đ The innovative presentation combined with the lush green ambiance instantly immersed me in a minimalist pastoral setting. The crispy waffle texture complemented the freshness of the caviar, and the addition of sour cream and fennel tuned the overall flavor, making it refreshing and layered. This combination really whet my appetite! ⌿ Main Course: Scallops with garlic and chive crunch đ The scallops were sweet and tender, covered with a layer of creamy foam; the taste was smooth with a slight milky and tangy flavor that highlighted the scallopsâ sweetness. The overall flavor was not too heavy, and the addition of fried garlic and chive crunch made the taste more complex, very representative of Nordic flavors! ⌿ Main Course: Lobster with baby potatoes đŚ A common Nordic combination: lobster with baby potatoes, beetroot shreds, and pea shoots. The lobster meat was firm; the cream sauce enhanced the sweetness of the lobster, making the flavor rich without being monotonous! Overall, it was like a journey into the countryside, with a sensory experience that lived up to expectations! ăHøstă âď¸ Opening Hours: Monday to Sunday 17:00âMidnight #Denmark #Copenhagen #CopenhagenFood #CopenhagenRestaurant #Host #Michelin #Tacoisataco
