🇩🇰 Copenhagen 1.5-Day Solo Trip Guide | An Impromptu Healing Journey
My first solo trip was absolutely satisfying! Sharing this lazy-friendly guide hoping to help you~ 🌭 DAY 1 (Afternoon + Evening) 🚌 Transport: Arrived by bus at 4 pm, took the metro straight to eat! 🍩 First Food Stop: Hart Bageri chain bakery 💰 Cardamom Croissant (38 DKK): Magical Danish swirl! Sugar grains + cardamom aroma, perfectly crispy 💰 Cheesecake (40 DKK): Not as amazing as Barcelona’s but worth a try 🏨 Accommodation: Generator Hostel (next to Rosenborg Garden) ✅ Great location → 10-min walk to Nyhavn|Clean and tidy ❌ Poor soundproofing → People checking in at 1 am with flashlights, woke me up twice😭 🌊 Coastal Walk: Headed out light-packed, walked along the harbor to the Little Mermaid statue Seagulls + pigeons + jackdaws flying together, sailboats and yachts docked in the glowing "Danish blue" bay✨ 📸 Focus not on the statue but on the scenery from Nyhavn to the statue! The smoking chimney across the water is ironically poetic😮💨 Detoured to a turtle-shaped fortress (can walk through) + a mysterious sculpture 🌇 Nyhavn at Night: Returned to Nyhavn after 8 pm for colorful house photos📸 Totally worth it! 🍽 Planned to eat at Aamanns 1921 (hot spot), but kitchen closed at 9 pm → missed it 🍺 Changed plans to Mikkeller Bar for drinks, got scared walking alone → bought beer at 7-Eleven instead ❌ Beer was shockingly sour… never again! 🥛 Bought yogurt for dinner at supermarket, met "Beer Hero" who gave me a spoon → moved to tears🍻 🚇 Transport Tips 🎫 Fare Rules: Distance-based pricing, check-in when boarding and check-out when alighting (no need to repeat for transfers) ❌ DSB App couldn’t bind Chinese credit cards (CMB/BOC both failed) ✅ Solution: Use Rejsekort App → bind to your data SIM number for verification code 🚇 Metro sign: Red underlined "M" 💡 24-hour pass ≈ 100 DKK (recommended for full-day exploration) 💡 Insights Copenhagen is perfect for aimless wandering, Nordic filter is breathtaking Stay alert at night when traveling alone, but you might meet kind strangers Food hit-or-miss… lower expectations for pleasant surprises #SoloTravelCopenhagen #PostCorporateLife #ImpromptuTrip
