🇩🇰 Copenhagen Michelin Star | Alouette
💛Last month, I visited Copenhagen, and the schedule was packed, leaving only one evening for a restaurant reservation. We chose Alouette. 💛They changed to a new location just mid-year, and the previous spot was that popular old warehouse, once acclaimed as the “restaurant that doesn’t look like a Michelin-starred restaurant.” The new address is also somewhat confusing. The entrance is discreet; we wandered around the courtyard after arriving when the chef suddenly appeared in front of us warmthly to greet us (it was literally like a dramatic appearance out of nowhere, adding to the theatrical effect). 💛Alouette offers a tasting menu, and we opted for wine pairing. The dishes have rich flavors, with the chef’s pride being the caviar with pumpkin at p5. Personally, I find their dishes well-balanced in taste, without any overpowering flavors, and the wine list is also quite distinctive. The wine list is extensive, starting with champagne, moving to white/red wines, and ending with craft beers and dessert pairings. The red wines are mostly dry, predominantly from Italian regions, and are generally easy to drink. The dessert/tea/coffee is served downstairs in the lounge, where you need to change seats. 💛The only downside is that their service is too fast… Perhaps because there are quite a number of dishes, about ten, so the interval between each course is almost non-existent. This led to me feeling pressured while drinking for the first time. 💛It’s said that Copenhagen is a paradise for fine dining enthusiasts. Unfortunately, this time was too rushed. If I have the chance next time, I must stay longer to truly experience life in this fairy-tale world. #Food #Denmark #Nordic #Copenhagen #Michelin #MichelinRestaurant #NordicTravel #RestaurantRecommendation #Restaurant
