🇩🇰 Copenhagen Travel Tips: Grundtvig's Church - Avoid the Pitfalls

Here's a must-read guide before you visit Grundtvig's Church in Copenhagen: 📍 Grundtvig’s Church (Danish: Grundtvigs Kirke) 🚌 By Bus: Take bus 4A or 6A to Bispebjerg Torv (Tagensvej). 🚄 By Train: Take the B line to Emdrup St. 🎫 Tickets: I bought a 1-4 zone day pass small, which you can easily purchase directly in the DOT app. ‼️ Important Note: The church is free to visit, but it's closed to the public when there are events. Always check the official website for the opening hours before you go. I initially considered skipping this spot because it's quite popular and I was worried about being disappointed. However, after visiting, I found it to be very photogenic and worth the visit. Remember to be respectful when taking photos and not to disturb others; move along quickly after your turn. 🙄 💒 About the Church: This church was designed by Peder Jensen-Klint, the father of Kaare Klint, known as the "father of Danish modern furniture design." Both father and son supervised the construction of the church, which took nearly 20 years to complete. Kaare is the designer behind many chairs that fill half of the Copenhagen Design Museum. 📸 Photography Tips: The church faces east and is oriented in such a way that the southern aisle on the right side of the entrance is much brighter than the northern aisle on the left. See the comparison in the images (refer to image 1️⃣ and image 2️⃣). Choose your shooting location based on your style. 😏 #Denmark #NordicLife #Foreigners #PhotographyTips #Church #OffTheBeatenPath #LifePhotos
