🇪🇬 Luxor | Sunset Dinner by the Nile 🌄
Found this riverside restaurant on Google Map with great reviews and my dad’s favorite—grilled pigeon! 🕊️🔥 Decided to give it a try. On the first day, after visiting Luxor Temple, we met three Egyptian university students who spoke Chinese 🎓👋. They highly recommended this place—exactly where we wanted to go! Unfortunately, the pigeon and roasted beef were sold out that night, so we returned early the next day. After a felucca ride on the Nile ⛵, we asked the boatman to drop us off near Luxor Temple. The restaurant was just a short walk away. We started with complimentary Egyptian bread 🥙, salad 🥗, and a mysterious bean dip—so delicious that we almost finished all 10 pieces before our main courses arrived! 😋 We ordered: Mixed grilled platter 🍖 Grilled pigeon (stuffed with rice—a unique local style!) Grilled fish 🐟 Beef tagine 🍲 Everything was flavorful and satisfying! The only slight surprise was the pigeon—its breast meat is removed and stuffed with rice, which might be unusual for some. The total for four people was 1900 EGP (only £30 with a UK card 💷)—a great deal for a restaurant with such a stunning view! Perfect spot to enjoy a sunset dinner after a Nile boat ride. The atmosphere is vibrant and full of local charm! 🌅🍽️ #Egypt #NileSunset #Luxor #ExoticFood #NileRiver #SunsetDining #EgyptTravel #FoodieAdventure✨
