🇪🇸|6 Hidden Gem Stores in Madrid You Won’t Regret Visiting!

🇪🇸 Everyone knows that living in Barcelona is a joy thanks to its abundance of charming little shops and delicious food. But after visiting Madrid more than ten times, I’ve discovered that the capital’s geographic scale is truly vast—and its array of great stores is no less impressive than Barcelona’s! So today, let’s explore six must-visit shops in Madrid where you won’t leave empty-handed. Plus, one of them is the largest of its kind in all of Spain! 🛍️ 📍 World's Top Zara Flagship Store Plaza de España 19 Spanning approximately 7,700 square meters, this Zara is not only the largest in Spain but also the largest Zara store in the world. With multiple floors, the store is clearly divided into clothing, shoes, bags, and cosmetics—making it feel like shopping in a full-blown retail center. 📍 Spain's Largest Miniso Gran Vía 48 This Miniso covers 1,100 square meters across two floors. The store features several theme park-style setups perfect for photo ops, and the range of IP collaborations here is incredibly comprehensive! However, the cosmetics section falls a bit short compared to the affordable yet high-quality options available back in China. 📸 📍 Andrés Gallardo – A Spanish Niche Brand C. de San Pedro, 8 An independent Spanish design brand known for its dreamy aesthetic, often drawing inspiration from natural elements like animals and flowers. They uniquely combine Portuguese ceramics with leather to create beautiful and distinctive handbags. Each piece is typically handmade by Spanish artisans, reflecting strong artisanal craftsmanship. 🌸 📍 Hanso Cafe Cost.ª de los Ángeles, 7 A star coffee shop opened by Chinese expats in Madrid! Their coffee beans are sourced from Nomad, and they also offer delicious pastries to pair with your brew. Recently, their brunch has proven to be quite impressive too 👍 📍 Coco Mocca Cafe P.º de las Acacias, 49 You have to visit this café for its looks alone! The pink🌸 decor is incredibly photogenic. 📸💖 📍 Matikstudios – Photo Booth & Self-Photo Studio C. de Valverde, 21 Here, I managed to take my own professional headshots! The space includes a self-shooting area with backdrop options as well as a photo booth. We booked the self-shooting area—during your allotted time, you use a remote to take photos yourself. A professional DSLR camera and light retouching ensure great quality, and images are displayed in real-time on a screen. Best of all, no staff are present during the session—perfect for introverts! There’s no limit on the number of shots you can take, so more clicks mean more photos. All images are emailed to you in a bundled package. After shooting, you can choose frames for your photos—often with limited-edition options. You might even snap something as cool as Aespa’s themed frames! We also tried the photo booth, which is more playful and fun. 📸✨ #Madrid #MadridTravel #MadridExploration #WeekendsInMadrid
