Make sure to spend half a day visiting the Toledo Cathedral! 🏰✨ Here’s how to get there smoothly: 🚌 Transport Guide 1️⃣ Take the metro to Plaza Elíptica. 2️⃣ Look for food stalls — nearby you’ll find ALSA bus ticket machines. Select a same-day round trip ticket. Choose the earliest available departure (buses often run late — ours was 30 minutes behind schedule!). 3️⃣ Go to the top floor via escalator — the bus queue is right across. Just join the end of the line. 💡 Restrooms are two floors down near the restaurants. 4️⃣ The bus goes directly to Toledo Bus Station without stops. 🗣️ Ask the driver which platform to use for the return trip to Madrid. 🚍 Getting Up the Hill From Toledo station, take a local bus up to the cathedral (approx. €2.80). Use Google Maps to find the bus stop — it’s a 7-8 minute walk from the station (with some stairs). 🔙 Returning to Madrid Head back to the same bus station.
