This trip back hit different: • Hotel prices went wild 🏨💸 (Westin-tier pre-COVID = now barely gets you an AC Hotel by Atocha). At least taxis didn’t spike! • New skyline spots popped up: RIU rooftop, Palacio de Cibeles (OG), Círculo de Bellas Artes... Our office even upgraded to a Gran Vía Baroque balcony—views for days. • Gran Vía → Atocha pedestrian lanes = finally finished! Madrid remains Europe’s best city for slow living (and getting gloriously lost). 🕺🏼 Madrileño Mode: Activated • Work hard, play harder: 3PM tapas → 3AM cañas 🍻 (My Spanish magically improved with each drink). • Golden hour obsession: Leica/Sony in hand, chasing insane sunsets every night. 🌆 • Nailed a Spanish speech (DELE C1 rust → B1?
