Forget Nice—Antibes is the true South of France dream! Here’s how to conquer its iconic hike (despite trail closures): 🚂 Getting There Nice → Antibes: 20min train (€13.4 round-trip). Lunch First: Hit the Saturday vintage market (way more local than Nice’s!). 🚗 To the Trailhead Taxi: Drop at Parking Plage de la Garoupe for that epic mountain-road shot Bus #2: To Fontaine stop (€1 via Envibus app / €1.5 cash). ⚠️ Trail Routes 🔴 Route 1: Detour Required Follow crowds to the swimming cove (gorgeous but tiny). Closed gate? Double back → enter paid garden on right → left at to join main trail. 🔵 Route 2: Classic Path (Easier!) Left at fork → walk to parking lot → beach → right to start hike. Why better?
