🇫🇷 Paris | Confit duck legs I want to pack and take away 🦆😍🍴

Confit de canard is a classic representative of French cuisine, and almost every French restaurant serves this dish. 💕 I’ve tried several places, but I only recommend two—one in the city center and the other in Montmartre.❣️❣️ 1️⃣ La Tour Montlhéry - Chez Denise Located in the 1st arrondissement, between the Pompidou Center and Châtelet, the "center of the universe." I’ve been here 5 times because every friend visiting Paris insists on eating here 🤣. A friend studying in the UK even came twice, and she keeps saying, “I really want to pack some back to London”!💞 💓Their duck legs are incredibly fragrant. Don’t worry about them being greasy—good confit de canard should be richly oily and crispy! It’s totally suited to Chinese palates. The accompanying fries are also perfectly fried. Usually, each person orders one main dish. I’ve tried their steak tartare (raw beef tartare) and pan-fried chicken liver, but they were too rich to finish. Let’s just say, let’s not be too adventurous 🤣. Recommended combinations: ✅ Main courses: Confit de canard + pan-fried lamb chops / beef bourguignon;✨✨ ✅ (Optional) Starters: Escargots / foie gras; ➡️ (If you find it too rich, add a) salad; ➡️ (For drinks, try their) house red wine; ➡️ (Portions are generous, but if you still have room, order a) dessert.🎄 Walk-ins are possible on weekdays, but definitely make a reservation for holidays, weekends, and peak tourist seasons‼️ ‼️ The Wi-Fi in the restaurant is spotty, and the handwritten menu is entirely in French, which can be hard to understand. I’ve written the dish names in the pictures—you can just show them to the waiter!✨ 📍 Address: 5 Rue des Prouvaires, 75001 Paris Le Poulbot🎊 This one is in Montmartre (anyone want a Montmartre travel guide? 🙋‍♀️)—affordable and delicious. Their confit de canard has a slightly sweet flavor, which I think friends from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, or Guangzhou will love at first bite! 😍 Unlike the first restaurant, every dish here is amazing‼️ Their beef bourguignon is stewed to perfection, and the onion soup is rich and aromatic.☀️☀️ Other dishes on their Google page look equally tempting—you’re unlikely to go wrong with anything.🌙 The waitress who served us before had a beautiful smile and was very welcoming. If you’re in Montmartre, this place is a must-try! 👍 📍 Address: 3 Rue Poulbot, 75018 Paris #Paris #ParisLife #ParisDaily #ParisTravel #ParisTourism #ParisFood #ParisRestaurants #ParisFoodGuide #ParisFoodCheckIn #ParisConfitDeCanard #ConfitDeCanard #France
