🇬🇧 An English Newbie's Adventure in the UK (11) – Belfast City Walk
August 13 – Still exploring on foot! 🚶♀️🚶♀️ Day 4 itinerary: Queen’s University → Botanic Gardens → Ulster Museum I stayed at a hotel in the city center, not too far from Queen’s University, so I decided to walk 🏨👣. Here are a few photos of different church styles along the way ⛪️📸. ⭐ Queen’s University The campus buildings are on both sides of the road. The main iconic building is enclosed within a courtyard – sitting quietly here feels really peaceful 🍃. Not sure if it was just the timing, but there were many "Chinese student parents" touring around (just a guess 😄). Highly recommend sitting on one of the benches on campus – super relaxing! ⭐ Botanic Gardens After visiting the university, it’s only natural to explore the Botanic Gardens 🌺. The garden is connected to the campus – you can enter through the gate at the far end of the university or from the crossroad just past the main entrance. There are two greenhouses 🏛️, several outdoor landscapes, and wide grassy lawns 🍀. The gardens here always give me such a relaxed and cozy vibe 💚. ⭐ Ulster Museum Opening hours: 10:00 - 17:00 ⏰ At the entrance, you can pick up a guide booklet – it’s available in multiple languages and includes a layout map and recommended routes for each floor 🗺️. One floor features an art exhibition with old photographs – great for history lovers! 📜🖼️ #Belfast #CityWalk #QueensUniversity #BotanicGardens #UlsterMuseum #TravelUK #Solotravel
