🇬🇧 Bird's Eye View of Cambridge | Climbing Great St Mary's Tower 🏰

Right across from King's College, you'll find Great St Mary's Church – with a sign out front saying "Tower Open Today" 🪧. As the tallest building in Cambridge, it offers a breathtaking view of the entire city. Since King's College tickets felt overpriced 🎫😬 and Trinity College was closed to visitors, we decided it was totally worth spending a bit to see Cambridge from above! You can grab a brochure (available in Chinese too 📖) when buying your ticket – it shows all the landmarks you’ll see from each direction at the top. The staircase is the same for going up and down ⬆️⬇️, so people take turns – one group descends, then the next ascends. The steps are super narrow and steep – be careful, it’s a bit of a climb! 🧗‍♀️ At the top, you’ll find a square platform with viewing spots on all four sides – each with perfect photo opportunities 📸.
