🇬🇧 Birmingham Day Trip Guide for International Students 🎒✨

1️⃣ Transportation: Arrive at Birmingham New Street Station — it’s super central and close to all major attractions! 🚉 2️⃣ Recommended Route: Bullring Shopping Centre → St Martin’s Church → Chinatown → Peaky Blinders Mural → Victoria Square → Birmingham Library 📍 🛍️ Bullring Shopping Centre Just a 5-minute walk from New Street Station! One of Birmingham’s largest shopping hubs with tons of brands, food spots, and hangouts. Even if you don’t shop, the architecture (especially the iconic silver Selfridges building) is worth seeing! 📸✨ ⛪ St Martin’s Church Right next to Bullring — one of the oldest churches in Birmingham. Simple yet beautiful inside and out. A must-visit landmark! 🙏 🍜 Chinatown ~10 mins walk from the church. We tried Uncle Liu’s Beef Noodles — highly recommend! 🐮❤️ I ordered the Braised Beef Brisket Noodles (£10.50) — rich broth, tender meat, chewy noodles. So good! Can’t wait to try their Braised Intestine Noodles next time 😋 🎬 Peaky Blinders Mural On the way to Victoria Square, don’t miss this iconic wall dedicated to the hit TV series set in Birmingham! 🧥🔫 🎄 Victoria Square The heart of Birmingham’s Christmas Market! 🎅🤶 Lots of stalls selling German crafts, Christmas decorations, grilled sausages, and mulled wine. We tried hot chocolate and churros — decent and cozy! ☕🥨 📚 Birmingham Library A stunning modern building — one of the UK’s largest and most innovative public libraries. Head to the top-floor viewing terrace for panoramic city views! 🌆 At night, check out the nearby amusement rides: Ferris Wheel 🎡 (student discount available!) Swing Ride 🪂 Pirate Ship 🏴☠️ All around £5-7 per person — fun and affordable! 🎯 Perfect for a fun, compact day out! Don’t forget your student ID for discounts 😉 #Birmingham #ChristmasMarket #StudentTravel #StudyInUK #DayTrip #UKAdventure 🎄
