🇬🇧 Cambridge Day Trip Guide

All attractions are marked on the map. Cambridge in sunny summer is SO much prettier than gloomy winter! ❄️→☀️ Strongly recommend visiting in summer! 1️⃣ River Cam Punting 🚤 Board at Scudamore's Mill Lane Punting Station. ⏱️ ~40 mins round trip | 💷 £12-20 (similar prices, just pick any!) 2️⃣ Corpus Clock 🔔 → King’s College → Chapel 📍 Corpus Clock is right outside King’s College. 📖 Learn its history before visiting—it’s fascinating! 🎫 You MUST enter King’s College (£13.5 student ticket, includes Chinese guidebook) to see items 3️⃣ & 4️⃣. ⛪ The chapel inside is stunning—don’t miss it! 3️⃣ The Bridge of Cam → Xu Zhimo Stone 🌉 Walk toward the river from King’s College—you’ll find the bridge and the famous stone engraved with Xu’s poem. 📸 Great photo spot left & right on the bridge! Lots of Chinese visitors come for this iconic landmark ❤️ 4️⃣ Bridge of Sighs → St John’s College 🚶♀️ Cross the bridge and turn right → follow the path to St John’s College and the dreamy Bridge of Sighs 😍 ✨ Light filters through like in Venice—so pretty! 🌿 Walk along the river: sit on the grass, chat, and watch the punts go by—best view ever! (Like 2nd right pic in cover!) 5️⃣ Trinity College → Newton’s Apple Tree 🍎 🌳 The (descendant of the) apple tree that inspired Newton is at the gate! 📸 Bring an apple for a fun photo op! 6️⃣ Pembroke → Queens’ → Corpus Christi Colleges 🏛️ Cambridge has so many colleges—each with unique architecture and vibes! I randomly visited 4-5—all were beautiful 💫 🚪 If a college gate is open, step in! You might find hidden courtyards or gardens. 🌸 Wander slowly—every corner here is a scene. #Cambridge #StudyAbroad #UKTravel #XuZhimo #FarewellCambridge
