🇬🇧 Day Trip from Manchester: Exploring Leeds! ☀️
Took advantage of the sunny weather for a Leeds adventure today! After studying countless "efficient route" guides on Xiaohongshu, I confirmed: Leeds city center is wonderfully compact! 🏙️ All the shopping arcades are interconnected—so easy to navigate! Coming from Manchester's chaotic streets, I have to applaud Leeds for being so polished—spotless pedestrian streets and stunning mosaic floors in the arcades. ✨ 🛍️ Highlights: P10: Found an adorable £1 teddy bear at a pop-up stall in the arcade! 🧸 P11: Snapped a pic of the famous "Leeds Devil" at Fabrication Crafts (highly recommended by locals!). 🎨 Miffy Exhibition @ Leeds City Museum Free entry (can't complain!), but the lighting was chaotic and dim—definitely designed for kids 😅 Saw a stylish grandma rocking a Miffy tote bag—instantly wanted one but couldn't find it in the gift shop or online! 😭 🎓 University of Leeds: Leslie Cheung Memorial Bench Followed Xiaohongshu directions—hope I found the right spot! 📚 🐱 Leeds = Cat Lover's Paradise! Corn Exchange was full of cat-themed souvenirs—even spotted an owl pin (a first for me!). Final Verdict: Leeds is walkable, artsy, and full of surprises—perfect for a spontaneous day trip! #Wanderlust #UKDayTrips #LeedsTravel #StudyAbroadDiaries #CasualExploring #LeedsUni #MiffyFan 🇬🇧🚶♀️💛
