From the street, it looks completely ordinary, but once you step into the basement and push open the “bookshelf door,” you’re transported to a secret cocktail haven. It’s mysterious and retro! 🕸️ 📍 Panda & Sons 79 Queen St, Edinburgh, EH2 4NF 💷 Prices are around £14.5 per drink, which is a bit on the higher side compared to local bars, but the service is top-notch! The alcohol content is also more approachable for the average drinker. 🕐 Hours: 16:00–0:00 (walk-ins welcome!) 📈 Ranked in the World’s Top 50 Bars, and the only one in Edinburgh! 🌟 The service is a huge plus! It’s incredibly attentive! The atmosphere is relaxed and pressure-free—no cold shoulders or social anxiety here! 🍹 Every drink I had was a hit! The menu updates regularly, so some classics like Softcore Porn might be off the menu. We just went with our gut and ordered a few drinks, and they were all delicious: Wilderness 🌺 Berries + sherry + bourbon! The balance of sweet and sour is perfect, and the whiskey flavor is subtle. The first sip is amazing, and it’s perfect for those who love a tangy kick! I could have had another round! Friend to Friend 🍬 Vodka base with a mix of fruits and a hint of cocoa aroma. The texture is a bit richer and sweeter, and the addition of protein sugar gives it a divine flavor! Coconut Daiquiri 🥥 Rum + coconut, super refreshing and gentle.
