🇬🇧 Edinburgh 🏴 Succumbing to French Escargot
Aaaaaaaahhhhhhh! I finally got to try French cuisine! As expected, in this little food desert, the best options are Italian and French food. Hahaha. 📍 Petit Paris 📋 Menu Appetizer➕Main Course➕Dessert➕Beverages—that’s the menu. It’s pretty straightforward and usually comes with bread. The butter is super fragrant. 🍽️ La Cocotte traditionnelle du Petit Paris. This one has the restaurant’s name in it, so it must be good, right? It’s described as a 21-year tradition. I ordered it, and it’s basically beef stewed in red wine with potatoes and carrots. The beef is really tender. 🍽️ Le traditionnel Coq au vin façon Petit Paris. This one tastes similar to the beef but is made with chicken. It doesn’t have that strong beefy flavor and is also fall-off-the-bone tender. To be honest, I prefer the beef. 🍽️ L'Entrecôte grillée, sauce au poivre. The eye of the steak is so delicious. The pepper sauce on top is really nice and adds a unique flavor. The meat is medium-rare and super tender. This is my MVP! 🐌 Les Escargots grillés façon Bourguignonne. Grilled snails with garlic and butter—so delicious! 🕐 Opening Hours: 12:00-15:00 / 17:00-22:00 Reservations are a must! There aren’t many indoor seats. If the weather is bad, outdoor seating won’t be an option. But if you go early, you might be able to walk in. ₤ Price Range: £25-35. It’s up to you how much you want to spend. The main courses are around £20, and if you add some snacks and desserts, it’ll be about the same. #Edinburgh #EdinburghFood #EdinburghTravel #HiddenGemRestaurant #FoodieDaily #EdinburghEats #UKEdinburgh #EdinburghFrenchCuisine #EdinburghFrenchFood #FrenchCuisine #EdinburghFoodie #EdinburghFoodRecommendations
