A perfect day-trip city—nearly all major sights are walkable from the station! Though my boyfriend dragged me to Anfield for a pilgrimage 🏟️ (so most time was spent there!), we still squeezed in some city highlights. ⚽ Anfield Stadium From Lime Street Station: Took Bus 17/17A (Queen Square stop) to "Liverpool FC." Stadium Tour: £25/person—explored the pitch, locker rooms, press room, plus a mini-museum and huge merch store. Pro tip: Get off 1-2 stops early to snap graffiti walls en route! 🎨 🏛️ Quick City Sights (Exteriors Only!) World Museum, Central Library, St George’s Hall Rushed past these post-Anfield, chasing the sunset by the sea! 🌅 🍻 Cavern Club Didn’t enter (needs tickets) but posed with the Wall of Fame outside! 📸 ⛵️ Royal Albert Dock Tate Liverpool, The Beatles Story, Museum of Liverpool—all clustered here! Saw the Beatles Statue and distant Ferris Wheel. Golden hour magic: Shot lamp-lit seaside views as the sun dipped. ✨ 🍗 Renshaw Street Food Market A Chinese-style food court!
