🇬🇧 London Weekend | Capybara Petting
As a fan of capybaras, I've always wanted to get up close and personal with these gentle giants to soak up their emotional stability. A zoo and amusement park in London makes it possible to pet capybaras. The place is called Hobbledown Heath. There are 5 capybaras in the park. Two of them are quite small, only about 2 years old. The feeding session lasts only about 15-20 minutes, but it's incredibly therapeutic~Highly recommended! 🎫 How to Book Tickets Google Hobbledown Heath Capybara, The first result will be the official site. There are only 2 time slots per day, 12:15pm and 3:15pm. Only 4 people are allowed in each time slot, So the number of tickets is limited but very popular. If you want to book for weekends, you need to book 1 or 2 months in advance. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the park entrance to the capybara area. The official recommendation is to arrive 15 minutes early. ✍🏻 Capybara Petting + Additional Knowledge Before petting the capybaras, you need to sign a safety notice. Then you'll be asked to put on gloves and enter to sit down and feed them. Capybaras, like humans, don't like food that's too 'green'. They prefer sweet foods like sweet potatoes/carrots. I tried feeding them several times with leafy greens/cilantro, but they weren't interested. Only when they had nothing else to eat did they resort to it. They really enjoy being touched on their necks, feet, and bodies. You can focus on these areas for petting. Remember to wash your hands after petting. 💰 Price £55 per person. This price includes Park Entry. In addition to the capybara experience, you can also see other animals. There are many play facilities inside, especially suitable for children. It seems that most of the park visitors are parents with their kids. 📍 Location Hobbledown Heath, Staines Road, Hounslow, TW14 0HH #LondonLife #LondonCapybara #capybara #ThingsToDoInLondon #LondonZoo #WhereToGoInLondonWeekend
