:Duck & Waffle Right next to the mall in a super conspicuous building—so easy to find! 🌟 This is our favorite restaurant in Edinburgh! Tested and approved—delicious and visually stunning. 1️⃣ 🏠 Dining Experience: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 From the moment you walk in, you’re captivated by the unique✨ decor! You might even wonder if you’ve walked into the wrong place (it feels more like a trendy club). The circular open bar, neon lights, and every corner exude a sense of 😍 style and trendiness! 🎉 The restaurant even won the LIT Lighting Design Awards 2023! The lighting and decor are incredibly distinctive, with every detail showcasing the designer’s thoughtfulness and creativity. 🎬 Especially the warm, dim, theater-like projection lights hanging from above, casting a dramatic ambiance over the tables, making you feel like you’re in a visual feast! 2️⃣ 🍽️ Food Quality: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Signature dish “Duck Leg 🦆 + Waffle 🧇” I wasn’t expecting much (Beijing roast duck is unbeatable, right 🥢), but the duck was truly amazing! The sweet-savory combination is fresh and unique. The duck leg isn’t overly salty, with crispy skin and tender meat 🥩. Especially the roasted, crispy exterior—though it looks dry, the meat is incredibly juicy. Paired with the crispy waffle and the duck’s fat, it’s incredibly flavorful. The waffle, drizzled with the special sauce from the little porcelain cup, is soft, delicious, and very sweet 🥧. Raw Beef Salad with Oysters: 🦪🥗 Freshness is off the charts—definitely worth a try! Roast Duck Porridge: 🥣 Though the presentation is average, the taste is quite nice 😜. It feels like the chef took inspiration from Beijing Duck. Home Breakfast: 🍳 A traditional English breakfast that scores 8 out of 10. The eggs are perfectly scrambled 🥚. 3️⃣ 👏 Service Level: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 📝 Reservations are recommended, but walk-ins are also welcome before 10 a.m. when the breakfast menu is available 📑. The service is excellent and very accommodating 👌. Perfect for a romantic date 😘. PS: There’s also a branch in London, but it’s very hard to get a reservation there.
