🇬🇧 UK 9-Day Trip: Day 2 - Manchester City Blitz!
☕ Morning Buzz 8 AM: Landed at MAN Airport → Piccadilly Station (spotted the iconic bee statues 🐝). Pollen Bakery: Basque cheesecake = heavenly 😇, Blondie = sugar rush 🍰 🌈 Canal Street & Turing Memorial Gay Village vibes 🌈 + Turing’s tribute . "Bet this place slays at night!" 🚶♂️ Citywalk Highlights Town Hall: Open-door policy—unexpected! Cathedral: Gothic serenity ⛪ (Art Gallery & John Rylands closed for Easter 😤). Northern Quarter: Cool, but no "WOW" moments. ⚠️ "Skip It" Spots 1️⃣ National Football Museum ⚽: "Tiny + overpriced"—only worth it for hardcore England fans (1966 glory can’t carry this 🏆). 2️⃣ Science & Industry Museum 🏭: "One-room textile show?" 🇨🇳 "We’ve seen this in our hometown factories!" (Unless you really love the Spinning Jenny...). 🍽️ Food Fails Wright’s Fish & Chips 🐟🍟: "Cardboard fish + oily sadness" 🤢—"One more chance for British fish & chips… maybe." Barrafina (Soho) 🥘: "Overhyped!" Charred chicken 🤦♀️ + undercooked shrimp risotto 🦐 (but hey, the Chinese-speaking staff were sweet!). Silver lining: Nearby Agent Provocateur lingerie shop (Vivienne Westwood’s kid’s brand 👙—spicy!). 🌙 Nightcap Crashed at the hotel—jetlag revenge 😴. "Tomorrow: redemption meals & early beds!" #UKTravel #ManchesterDiaries #FoodieFails #CityWalk
