🇬🇧 UK Citywalk Day 1 — Birmingham!!

Finally beat the jet lag and feeling alive again! 🌞 📍 Route: St. Martin’s Church → Bullring Shopping District → Chinatown → Victoria Square Set off to High Street wearing my cool kid sunglasses 😎—the sky was so blue that every random shot looked amazing! No filters, no fancy angles, just raw life snaps. 📸 Passed by the Indoor Market and got curious—what’s a British wet market like? Peeked inside… overpowering fish smell 🐟 and rows of meat stalls. Walked out to the Outdoor Market, which felt like a 90s Chinese pedestrian street or even a Thai night market—vendors selling fruits, veggies, and random knick-knacks. So nostalgic! 😂 Nearby stands St. Martin’s Church, Birmingham’s oldest church ⛪—a stunning historical landmark contrasting with modern cityscapes. Every angle is insta-worthy, no editing needed! After the church, headed to the Bullring Shopping Centre 🛍️. On the way, stumbled upon a traditional Chinese acupuncture clinic—meeting fellow TCM practitioners abroad was heartwarming! 🇨🇳💉 "Chinese medicine is philosophy, compassion, and devotion." Inspired me to revisit my TCM studies back home. Since it’s the weekend, street performers were everywhere! 🎶 Sat lazily at Victoria Square for ages—sunshine, live music, coffee, and art… perfect for my slow-living vibe. ☕ Saving the Birmingham Central Library 📚 for another day—heard the rooftop view at sunset is breathtaking! Imagine: golden hour, books, coffee, and Shakespeare’s original manuscripts (well, a pseudo-nerd like me just wants a peek 👀). On the way back, spotted a sick-looking car 🚗—couldn’t help staring like a country bumpkin in the big city, lol! 📌 Final thoughts: Birmingham lives up to its title as the UK’s "Second City"—history, trendiness, and local vibes all in one walk! A true hidden gem. 💎 #BirminghamTravel #UKLife #Citywalk #HiddenGems #StudyAbroadUK ✨
