🇬🇧 You Say Life is Gorgeous — I Have No Objection 🌿 Cambridge
I’ll never forget arriving in Cambridge on a sunny spring day. At sunset, punting on the River Cam, a boat passed by 🛶 with young people playing music and singing Viva La Vida loudly 🎶 In that moment, I truly believed life is infinitely beautiful. . 🇬🇧 One Day in Cambridge 📍 Punting on the River Cam Book in advance with the popular Cambridge College Tours for just £12.5! But as a last-minute person, I walked in and met a Chinese-speaking guide — we chatted and settled for £15 🗣️💷 Turns out it was the same official tour! The route passes the Bridge of Sighs and the Mathematical Bridge. Sunset on the river is pure magic 💕 I almost skipped it, but so glad I didn’t — the evening glow over the Cam is breathtaking 🛶 📍 King’s College Tickets are sold at the souvenir shop across the street — £16 general, £13.5 student 🎫 The grand lawn at the entrance is stunning. On the right is King’s College Chapel. Cross the bridge further inside and you’ll find Xu Zhimo’s Garden with the “Farewell to Cambridge” stone. 📍 Corpus Clock ⏰ Right opposite King’s College at the intersection — a true Cambridge landmark. This gold clock has no hands. A mechanical insect “eats” time atop it. Time is shown via blue LEDs, symbolizing the irregular passage of time. 📍 Fitzwilliam Museum 🖼️ A must-visit art museum in Cambridge — free entry, and the building itself is magnificent! It houses an impressive collection of European paintings, including works by Monet, Rembrandt, Rubens, Titian, and Picasso. 📍 Trinity College Right outside the college gate is Newton’s Apple Tree 🍎 — no ticket needed. In spring, the cherry blossoms nearby are in full bloom 🌸 . 🚗 Transport Driving is convenient. Park at Castle Street Car Park — daily cap £8.9. . 🍨 Food & Drinks 📍 Jack’s Gelato A Cambridge must-eat! Not overly sweet 🍦 Try Coconut & Ube or Strawberry — so creamy! 📍 Bould Brothers A favorite among Cambridge students ☕ Their flat white is amazing 😋 . Cambridge is perfect for city walking 🚶♀️. Stroll through centuries-old streets, sip coffee, explore the market and the oldest bookshop in England — it’s like poetry in motion, wrapped in British charm. #TravelEditor #TravelInfluencer #JustGo #UKTravel #Cambridge #TourGuideLife
