🇮🇪 One Day in Cork Adventure! ✨🚶‍♀️

Took advantage of the weekend to explore—hopped on Aircoach's new express service to Cork, arriving at 10 AM sharp! 📍 First Stop: Blarney Castle & Gardens 🏰 (Student Ticket: €18) Rushed to catch the 215 bus (30-min ride). The castle grounds are massive—beautiful gardens, farm animals, and forest trails perfect for strolling! Legend says kissing the Blarney Stone grants eloquence ✨🤩 (Did I try? Maybe...) 📍 Second Stop: Blackrock Castle Observatory 🔭 (Student Ticket: €7) Back to the city center, then a bus to this astronomy-focused castle. The tower offers stunning views of River Lee! 🌊 📍 Third Stop: Elizabeth Fort 🏰 (Free!) Took the 212 bus to this historic fort. Walked the walls for panoramic city views, then visited the museum inside—powerful exhibits about Ireland’s imprisoned women. A must for history lovers. 📍 Fourth Stop: Saint Fin Barre’s Cathedral ⛪ (Student Ticket: €7) A short walk away. The outside (with its graveyard) is photogenic enough—skip the pricey interior unless you’re really into cathedrals. 📍 Fifth Stop: UCC (University College Cork) 🎓 Wandered the gorgeous campus. Tried sneaking into the library (failed—students only 👀). Witnessed a wedding ceremony though—sent silent blessings! 👰❤️ 📍 Sixth Stop: St. Patrick Street 🛍️ The main shopping strip! Grabbed food, dodged sunburn, and watched crowds devour ice cream. The English Market here is lively (but no pics left—oops!). 📍 Seventh Stop: Bell’s Field 🔔☀️ A killer uphill walk in blazing sun (worth it!). This giant hilltop park had locals sunbathing. The view over Cork? Tiny but breathtaking! Final Thoughts: Loved Cork’s chill vibe—less chaotic than Dublin! Streets aren’t spotless, but nowhere near as grimy. And the buses?? ACTUALLY ON TIME (Dublin, take notes 🚌⏰). #CorkDayTrip #WeekendGetaway #BlarneyCastle #CorkTravel #IrelandAdventures #StudyAbroadLife #UCC #IrishHistory #Wanderlust #TravelDiaries #NoLateBuses 🙌🌍
