๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ A Delicious & Chic Take on Indian Street Food! โœจ

The lunch/brunch we enjoyed at Indian Accent was one of the absolute highlights of my recent trip to New York! ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ’ซ The menu is prix fixe โ€” you can choose between two or three courses (the third being dessert), plus a "side," with six tempting options available for each course. Most items on the menu are either inspired by Indian street food or creatively reimagined by the chef โ€” and every single dish was stunning! ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿณ The four of us dined family-style, so we got to try almost everything on the menu and shared all the dishes. The meal began with a small cup of delicious pumpkin coconut soup ๐Ÿฅฃ๐ŸŽƒ, which set the tone for the flavorful journey that followed. The first few courses were creative twists on the famous street snack Chaat, served with burrata or other gourmet ingredients โ€” but my favorite was the Pao Bhaji with mini yeast buns, which the server described as a kind of Indian vegetarian Sloppy Joe! ๐Ÿ”๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ˜ The second course felt more like a main and was equally delicious. And the desserts? Simply spectacular! ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿง In terms of flavor, my top pick was the Syrup Tart with Ice Cream โ€” reminiscent of an exceptionally good pecan pie. ๐Ÿฅง๐Ÿฏ But when it came to presentation and overall experience, it was hard to top the Mahanmalai โ€” a giant saffron cream puff that felt like eating a cloud! โ˜๏ธ๐Ÿง Treat yourself to a meal at Indian Accent โ€” you wonโ€™t regret it! The servers were warm, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and the food was absolutely extraordinary! ๐Ÿ™Œโค๏ธ #IndianAccentNYC #ModernIndianCuisine #PrixFixeMenu #StreetFoodReimagined #FineDining
