馃嚠馃嚫 2024 Iceland Christmas Season Travel Squad
馃嚠馃嚫 Circumnavigation of the World: Iceland Christmas Itinerary Sharing We just concluded our September Iceland round-the-island eight-day itinerary, and everyone enjoyed the scenery while also witnessing the aurora at night鈥攁n exceptional experience! We're heading back for Christmas! Iceland in winter is blanketed in snow, with mountains, volcanoes, and glaciers donning a white coat. Waterfalls like Gullfoss and Sk贸gafoss, as well as Seljalandsfoss, will be frozen, with glistening ice formations around them. Especially in low temperatures, the spray from the waterfalls will also freeze, creating a fantastical scene reminiscent of Frozen. With the long nights of December in Iceland, the chances of seeing the aurora increase. This Christmas holiday, we plan to visit Iceland again to admire its winter landscapes from December 22-27. This will be our fourth trip to Iceland. Here's the itinerary sharing: 馃搷 Day 1: Arrive in Iceland and head to the Sn忙fellsnes Peninsula, exploring the peninsula, Kirkjufell waterfall (Church Mountain waterfall), and the red-roofed church. 馃搷 Day 2: Visit Seljalandsfoss - Sk贸gafoss - Black Sand Beach - Plane Wreckage. 馃搷 Day 3: Explore J枚kuls谩rl贸n Glacier Lagoon - Diamond Beach. 馃搷 Day 4: Tour the Golden Circle, including the volcanic crater Kerid Crater - Geysir Strokkur - Gullfoss. 馃搷 Day 5: Explore Reykjavik city, Hallgrimskirkja church, and the Rainbow Street. 馃搷 Day 6: Head to the airport, with a possible stop at the Blue Lagoon for a soak before concluding the Iceland trip. We'll be traveling in a five-seat SUV 馃殫 and welcome anyone to join us! #Iceland #IcelandTravelGuide #OffTheBeatenPathTravel #MyTravelDiary #NaturalScenerySharing #Scenery #BeautifulSceneryOnTheGo #Christmas
