Bara Borgarnes has become my top pick for the best meal I've had in Iceland. The menu offers a variety of dishes, including classic fish and chips 🍟, grilled lamb chops, roasted mutton, grilled chicken 🍗, lamb burger 🍔, and a selection of craft beers. The standout dish is undoubtedly the grilled lamb chops. With a crispy exterior and tender, juicy interior, these chops are a rare find in the culinary landscape of Northern Europe. The first bite was so emotional, it nearly brought tears to my eyes. The accompanying fries were equally delightful, with just the right amount of salt and a perfectly crispy texture. ❗️ Be aware that the restaurant is popular among locals, especially during meal times, so be prepared for a short wait.
