🇮🇹 How Did I Not Know About This Place?
We walked past this restaurant a few days ago and were shocked we’d never heard of it — especially since it’s been open for years! Just four blocks from our apartment, and the food is absolutely incredible! 🍝👌 The interior is cozy and intimate, with a vibe that feels more like an upscale café or sandwich spot — but the food? Pure perfection. 🧑🍳💫 We started by sharing the Tartare Di Tonno 🐟 — made with bluefin tuna, mango, Spanish gazpacho, basil sauce, and extra virgin olive oil. It was beautifully plated and tasted even better than it looked! For our mains: I had the Lasagna 🍲 (homemade pasta, slow-cooked veal ragù, béchamel, and Parmigiano cream) My wife ordered the Cacio E Pepe 🧀 (Pecorino Romano, freshly ground black pepper, and 24-month-aged Parmigiano) Both dishes were rich, flavorful, and plated just right. We ended this amazing meal by sharing the Torta Della Nonna 🍰 — a shortcrust pastry filled with vanilla cream and pine nuts. A truly dreamy dessert! I highly recommend Da Adriano! In fact, I’d go as far as saying it’s the best Italian restaurant I’ve tried on the Upper East Side. ❤️ #DaAdriano #UESeats #ItalianFineDining #HiddenGemNYC #UpperEastSide #PastaLover
