๐ฎ๐น Pittsburgh Hidden Gem ๐ My New Happy Place
I seriously think (๐คตโโ๏ธ๐) Iโve found the best Italian restaurant in town ๐๐ป If you love Italian cuisine and seafood, you absolutely canโt miss this place! Top-tier ingredients, service, and atmosphere โ no joke! โจ Appetizers Crostini with fish roe Freshly baked crostini that smells amazing as soon as it arrives ๐โจ Several types of fish roe spread, topped with lemon zest, chili flakes, and chives โ each flavor stands out yet blends perfectly. Finished with a drizzle of olive oil. Divineee ~ Capesante: Seared scallops with beetroot Polpo: Grilled Spanish octopus with arugula salad These two?! My friends, you HAVE to order them!! Last month I had similar dishes at a perfect Portuguese restaurant in Napa Valley (check my earlier post ๐), and this place in Pittsburgh is just as good!! Different seasoning, but same mastery of seafood โ crispy outside, tender inside, incredibly fragrantโฆ Iโm running out of compliments ๐ฎโ๐จ โจ Mains Rigatoni alla Scamorza ๐ฅณ The waiter said itโs their signature โ you wonโt find it anywhere else! Smoked cheese in white sauce, diced Spanish ham, sweet peasโฆ so richly layered and satisfying. The pasta is perfectly al dente, coated in that guilty-but-worth-it creamy sauce ๐ Veal Saltimbocca Pan-seared veal wrapped in Spanish ham and sage โ super tender and umami! Served with my beloved butter-fried gnocchi ๐ฏ Proof that human happiness comes from carbs and fats ๐ง ๐ Lemon Cheesecake Ricotta-based lemon cheesecake โ traditional yet light like foam! Not too heavy, totally my type ๐ ๐ธ Friend had Dirty Martini: classic olive + vodka I had something with rum + rose essence + lemon juice โ so refreshing! Would be perfect in summer ๐น๐ ๐ฌ Bonus: me being extra happy and full โ went home and took like 50 selfies ๐ โจ Dish Osteria and Bar ๐ 128 S 17th St, Pittsburgh, PA 15203 Local foodies love it โ we had to book a month in advance! ๐๏ธโค๏ธ #Pittsburgh #ItalianCuisine #PittsburghFood #PittsburghEats
