🇮🇹 Taormina - Must-Eat Restaurant in Sicily 🍴

🍽️ Osteria Da Rita dal 1991 A classic and well-established restaurant! It’s often packed, and we waited for about an hour on Friday, but it was totally worth the wait! I highly recommend it to everyone. 🌟 The portions for both appetizers and main courses are generous, making it perfect for a group so you can try a variety of dishes. If you have a small appetite, don’t be too greedy! 🤣 In addition to the usual pre-meal bread, they also offer homemade bruschetta (Picture 1), served on colorful plates with the restaurant’s name printed on them. It’s both visually appealing and appetizing. 🥪 Antipasti - Impepata Di Cozze Mussel soup. It’s a huge dish, incredibly fresh and sweet. Their seasoning is really excellent. Besides the white wine flavor, there’s a strong lemon taste, plus black pepper, which enhances the mussels’ natural sweetness. 👍 Primi - Spaghetti da Za Rita 🍝 Their homemade spaghetti. The ingredients are simple, and I didn’t expect much, but they’ve perfectly balanced the flavors with a slight spiciness that makes you want to keep eating. Highly recommended for those who don’t know what to order or are tired of other pasta dishes! 🍝 Secondi - Polpo alla brace 🐙 Grilled octopus. A whole octopus grilled! It’s really satisfying to eat a whole one. Most other restaurants serve it in pieces or as a salad. The key is that their whole octopus is tender, easy to cut, and not dry or chewy at all. If you love octopus, you must order this! 🐙 We finished with Panna cotta, an Italian cream dessert with strawberries and caramel chocolate sauce. Since my dining partner isn’t a fan of strawberry🍓 products, we went with chocolate🍫. It’s on the sweeter side, but interestingly, it looks a lot like Mount Etna. 🌋 Overall, I highly recommend this place. It’s definitely one of the top restaurants I’d suggest visiting during your time in Italy. However, it does get very crowded, so be prepared to wait in line or visit during off-peak hours. You really can’t go wrong with any of the dishes here.👌🏻 #Taormina #TaorminaRestaurant #ItalyTravel #Sicily #TaorminaGuide #TaorminaFood #SicilyTravel #TaorminaDayTrip
