🇯🇵Tokyo, Japan Travel Plog Day7⃣️
Day 7 Itinerary: Haneda Airport Pickup - Stamina-en - Tokyo Skytree 🛫 Haneda Airport On the way there, I deliberately took the Monorail (MO Line) and chose a window seat to enjoy the scenery. For the return trip, I opted for the convenience of the airport bus. For lunch, I headed to a convenience store to grab some microwavable food. All convenience stores provide microwaves and hot water. ⚠️ Don't forget to ask for utensils! 🥩 Stamina-en Also known as Sutaminaen. Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for public holidays, no reservations are taken, and only cash is accepted❗️ When I arrived before 17:00, there were already two groups queuing, but I got in within 10 minutes. There was a Taiwanese aunt who spoke Chinese, while other staff only spoke Japanese. See Picture 10 for the menu. You need to grill the meat yourself. The salted beef diaphragm was delicious, with evenly distributed fat and a chewy texture that wasn't too tough. The bamboo shoot soup was highly recommended; the tender shoots were not astringent but had a sweet taste. The offal platter included tripe, beef liver, crispy intestines, and small intestines. The steak, recommended by the aunt, was a hidden menu item with abundant marbling, tender, and juicy. The main dishes were braised pork rice and aunt's fried rice, and the fried rice was a delicious and savory egg fried rice! For desserts, I ordered honey black bean almond tofu and a hidden menu item with strawberry jam (so many hidden items). The almond tofu was delicious, but the strawberry jam was super sweet. The portion sizes were large; one bowl of soup was enough for two to three people to share. I suggest not ordering too much at the beginning. Our bill was 44,350 yen (we ordered too much, and the steak cost 25,000 yen). Taiwanese Aunt 🗣️ Cash 💰 🗼 Tokyo Skytree/Skytree Open from Monday to Saturday until 21:00, and extended to 22:00 on Sundays (entry must be at least 1 hour before closing), with admissions every half hour. It features the 350m Tembo Deck and the 450m Tembo Gallery (see Picture 15 for the in-house map). If you love night views, I recommend going in the evening to see the lit-up Tokyo Tower in the distance. Purchase/redeem tickets and enter at the 4th floor, where you'll also find the Kirby Cafe, gift shops, and the Sumida Aquarium (available as a package or separate ticket, very clean and beautiful with a huge jellyfish wall; I visited last time, so I skipped it this time). Tickets: Weekday 350m ticket for adults is 2,100 yen, and the 350m+450m combo ticket for adults is 3,100 yen; Weekends are 2,300 yen/3,400 yen. Early bird tickets: Weekday 1,800 yen/2,700 yen, Weekends 2,000 yen/3,000 yen. Purchase on the official website/WeChat, available in Chinese. P.s 1⃣ Allow 1-2 hours for your visit. 2⃣ At 445m, you can queue up for a free commemorative photo. Scan the QR code to download the electronic version; the paper version costs an additional 1,500 yen. There are also paid photo spots at 340m and 350m. #Travel #MyTravelDiary #SelfGuidedTour #JapanSelfGuidedTour #TravelGuide #Tokyo #TokyoTravel #TokyoJapan
