We flew from Madrid to Marrakech and took the L19 bus from the airport to Medina. Pro tip: Keep your bus ticket—it gives you a free return ride to the airport! 🏡 Accommodation We stayed in a riad (traditional guesthouse) in the Medina (old town). Walking is the best way to explore—taxis LOVE to overcharge tourists! 📌 Day 1: Arrival & First Impressions Arrived in the afternoon. Currency tip: Exchange a little at the airport, but better rates are in the city! Dinner: Our riad host recommended a local buffet—perfect for trying a bit of everything! 📌 Day 2: Jardin Majorelle & YSL Museum Jardin Majorelle 💙: A photographer’s dream! Crowded but worth it—every corner is Insta-worthy. YSL Museum 👗: Connected to the garden. Student discount available but strict—they even asked for transcripts! Book tickets online in advance! 📌 Day 3: Desert Tour & Jemaa el-Fnaa Night Magic Desert tour (Booked via Booking.com): Meh experience—only the camel ride 🐫 at the end was fun. Jemaa el-Fnaa at night 🌙: Totally different vibe! Street food, performers, and packed crowds. Fixed prices here (no haggling), but Medina shops? Haggle HARD! 📌 Day 4: Medina Wander & Goodbye! Explored hidden alleys & beautiful architecture in the Medina. Caught the L19 bus back to the airport from the same stop. ⚠️ Travel Tips Locals are friendly (even to cats! 🐱), but solo female travelers should be cautious at night. Best with a male companion—Medina can feel unsafe after dark.
