🇲🇽 Mexico City | Must-Visit Attractions Guide 📍✨

Though I came to Mexico City mainly to EAT 🍽️😋, I still made time for cultural spots—efficient traveler mode ON! For food guides, check my previous posts on tacos, restaurants, street food, and bars—you won’t be disappointed! 🥳🌮🍹 1️⃣ Frida Kahlo Museum 🎨🔵 This was my most anticipated stop! Booked over a month in advance—it’s that popular! Frida’s iconic blue house is filled with her art, personal items, and spirit. 💡 Pro tip: Watch the movie Frida before visiting—it’ll make the experience even more meaningful! 2️⃣ Teotihuacan Pyramids 🌞🌙 The legendary Sun and Moon Pyramids! About 1 hour by bus from the city. Well worth a half-day trip. I’ve written a super detailed guide on how to get there by bus—check my previous notes! 🚌📲 3️⃣ UNAM Botanical Garden 🌵🌿 As a landscape architect + plant lover, this was a must-visit for me! Mexican flora is so unique—full of cacti, succulents, agave, and aloe vera. The garden feels wild and natural—totally my vibe! 4️⃣ Templo Mayor Museum 🏛️🦅 The heart of Aztec civilization and the birthplace of Mexico City. Legend says the gods told the Mexica people to settle where they saw an eagle perched on a cactus 🌵🐦—right here! The ancient ruins contrast powerfully with the Spanish colonial buildings around them. 5️⃣ Zócalo (Constitution Plaza) 🇲🇽❤️ The central square of the historic district, home to Mexico’s largest flag, the National Palace, and the Metropolitan Cathedral. A definite Follow me for coming soon! 👀🔥 #HiddenGems #Mexico #TravelMexico #MexicoCityAttractions #NorthAmericaTravel #TorontoLife #WhereToTravel #FridaKahlo #InstagrammableSpots #CDMXGuide #PyramidsOfMexico
