🇲🇽 Perfect Weekend Escape in Mexico City | Lago de Gansos 🌳🚶♀️

Finally explored the much-hyped Lago de Gansos this weekend – and it did NOT disappoint! A full immersion into lush forests 🌿💦 Highly recommend! 👏🏻 ✨ This route is perfect for those who love exploring hidden woodland trails 🤩 You’ll walk among towering trees, cross little streams, and spot magical mushrooms everywhere after the rain 🍄✨ ⚠️ The path isn’t always clearly marked – be sure to track your route so you don’t get lost! And wear anti-slip hiking shoes – safety first! 🥾☝️ ✨ Besides the forest adventure, there’s also an ancient monastery ruin – super photogenic! Strongly recommend paying the 22-peso entry to explore and take lots of pics 📸🧡 ✨ The park is located near Santa Fe – about 40 mins from Polanco 🚗 Ideally arrive by 11 AM and allow at least 4 hours to enjoy (especially important during rainy season – try to return before rain starts!). If possible, drive there – it’s more convenient! 🚙💨 📍 Google Maps: Lago de Gansos (Mexico City) Bonita Díaaa! 🌈🤗 #MexicoCity#MexicoCityTravel#MexicoTravelGuide#HikingRoutes#Mexico#TravelMexico#WeekendVibes#EscapeTheCity#NatureTherapy
