🇲🇽 The Best Mexican Food in New Mexico!

If there’s one Mexican restaurant worth waiting in line for in Santa Fe, it’s The Shed — located just steps away from the historic Santa Fe Plaza. Three years later, I returned — and it was just as incredible as I remembered. 🕚 Hours: Lunch: 11 AM - 2:30 PM | Dinner: Starts at 5 PM Bar & Waitlist open at 4 PM — this place is seriously popular! 🔥 📞 Reservations: You can call to book a table, but phones are only answered during business hours. I called a week ahead for a Saturday dinner — fully booked! Was advised to arrive around 3:40 PM to join the waitlist at 4 PM. 📝 Waitlist Experience: We got there at 3:45 PM and there was already a line! At 4 PM, they took our name, phone number, seating preference (indoor/outdoor), and desired dining time. Since we didn’t care where we sat — we just wanted to eat! — we got a notification that we could be seated right at 5 PM. By 4:50 PM, people were being told the next available slot was 8:30 or 9 PM! We got called in shortly after 5 PM… and guess what? We were seated at the exact same table as three years ago! 😲 🌮 Dining Experience: The food is still top-tier — you can’t go wrong with the Enchiladas! We also tried the House Margarita — it’s on the tart side, but you can ask for sweeter if you prefer. Most entrees are priced between $15-20, with a few higher-end options. ❤️ My absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in the U.S. I rarely wait in long lines for food… but The Shed is 100% worth it! 📍The Shed 113½ E Palace Ave, Santa Fe, NM 87501 #NewMexico #Santa Fe #MexicanFood #TheShed #FoodieWait #TravelEats #BestEnchiladas 🌶️
